Copying clothes

Rub-off method

-Choose a piece of clothing you wear a lot and fits well
- Iron the fabric if you feel like it
3 Smooth the fabric over a large sheet of paper on a flat preferably padded surface (like bed)
4 Pin the fabric and paper together (pushing pins thru them to matress)
5 Trace the outlines of the piece
6 Mark the thread, openings, darts etc
7 Mark the pattern, for example Shirt 12/2011, front piece (*2)
-Repeat on all of the pieces (front, back, pocket etc)

Choose a fabric similar to the original piece of clothing (stiffness, thickness, strech etc.)
